Hi guys. I'm stuck here.5 year old boiler serviced every year not by me. Boiler is saying 504 - flame lift off after 3 attempts then lock out. First checked & cleaned sparker and detection probes still same fault. Done working pressure at meter and inlet at gas valve no problems there, flue is fine. I thought rectification fault so it's the pcb as leads look fine. I put my fingers into the air intake/ silencer before the gas valve and reduced the intake of air and it lit 1st time and stayed lit on both heating and hot water. No flame lift off or dropping out after 20 times this has caused me to disprove the rectification fault in the pcb. Two Ariston techs are adamant it's the board any ideas I've got a gut feeling that it's not the pcb as I can get it running but only if I retard the air inlet. Any ideas or insight would be grateful thanks Iain
