Ariston e34 fault

Any advice on e34 fault code on arriston micro genious.

Fan/a p s / restrictor but is there any other advice from past experiences on these boilers plz

try removing the flue restrictor ring first

Would this be an issue after such a long time?....it was installed 8 yrs ago. Will def check the restrictor first then work from there

yes,they corrode with age,fan becomes a little weaker and flashes up E34 ,Tech advise you remove them

Your a star done the trick but I'm sure if this arises again it's got to be then fan as I checked aps/fan n it only fires up when you took the front case of but once the restrictor is out its all good.

I've never understood why certain manufactures fit them. Is it to do with flue length and incorrectly fitted from install? Ferroli like them too and after a few years they cause problems and they say remove it?

Don't be surprised if it starts doing the same within a year, you will then need to change the fan. They have a habit or running slow.

I have the option of just replacing the fan but I'll be changing there boiler next summer so just trying to save them as much as possible.They r gona change boiler n also underfloor heating which ll be fitting too.
