I have an Ariston MicroGenus 23 boiler and it seems to be misbehaving ever so slighly. The couple of symptoms are:
- Boiler fires up every 15-30 mins for 20 seconds or so and then the you can hear the pump moving water almost.
- The first 2 orange temperature lights appear to be sometimes lit indicating the water is warm even when the system should be cold.
- When hot tap is turned on a couple of times the water has gone cold after 30 seconds and the temperature lights are all over the place like it cant make its mind up how hot the water is.
Other than that it is generating both hot water and central heating when called on. It is on Economy mode (Not Comfort) as far as I can tell.
My thoughts are possibly the temperature probe part 569236 is faulty which is why the boiler keeps coming on as anti frost protection. Any thoughts would be appriciated or advice an how easy it is to change the temperature probe if this would be a reasonable conclusion.
