Right I'll try on here. Got to look at one of these that's going to lock out on hw but not heating. Not worked on many of these. My thoughts are blocked hw hex, any one got any knowledge of this. Chears.

Does it leave the fan running ? When it locks out ?

Haven't seen it yet, you thinking high flame shanigans. Venturi, aps sort of thing.

see if it intermitantl sparks after ignition, i had one with a random flame rec fault! turned out to be the board after i first thought it was fan/aps area! stayed on when i took the case off! proper lead me down the garden path it did

I always do the basics first, check B.P. high AND low, have it so often, does the boiler modulate down on dhw??

Went today, flame lift. Gave the burner a damn good clean and the burner pressure was to high. Obviously checked the flue was clear first.
