Anyone seen this? Sounds pretty bad, I assume this is heat team and Ideal ? If this is true it looks like it makes the warranty less than worthwhile IMO.

Baxi went to a job, blamed sludge so they drained and refilled. They called out again.... Bloke says no inhibitor in system so no warranty....... Odd that they drained it tested water quality and have us a pre and post fernox report...... Then went back and blamed us for no inhibitor??

I'd get used to these sort of things with the warranties that are on offer. I doubt alot of the manufacturers can afford to look after the boilers for such a long time.

I know they get slated for the amount of plastic they have in the boilers but worcester have the best aftercare in the business I've never had a problem with them.

Tbh I've had a few Vaillant issues recently, but the back ups been ace. I've even had an issue with some warranties not being registered properly, and two years after install they're letting me register them with a full warranty!

My mate stopped installing ideal logic +'s after finding they had been sellng his customers details to homeserve. Who had been calling his custards and selling service contracts to them The custards thought he would be doing the service free of charge.

my mother got a corgi letter this week about her warmfront boiler fitted about 4 years ago. Funny thing is they think its an ideal but its actually a baxi. morons.

Isnt it possible to detect cleaner and inhibitor even after theyve been removed from a system? sure thats what i heard.
