Assistance/advice required!

Hi there. I am an Employment Manager working at Oxford and Cherwell Valley College. We are currently working with a group of 15 students, aged 16-24 years who are due to complete their Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing in July 2010. These students have been attending training at the College since September 2009 for 3 days a week on an intensive Diploma programme. I’m seeking employers who would be able to offer employment or a work experience placement for a minimum of 4 weeks. If you are able to help or have any ideas on where to seek employment for this enthusiastic group, it would be much appreciated! Many thanks, Helen 😱

Looks like your college is short of employers, youll notice that is the picture across the country Im afraid. In my area the employment manager actively contacts all the local plumbers and engineers by phone and letter to solicit their help in placing trainees, shouldnt you do the same?🙄
