Hi all,
I'm new to the forums and relatively new to plumbing, and wondered if any of you experienced chaps could help me out...
I went to a job today, where they had urinals that were constantly running out of the flush pipe and wasting water. The cistern fill pipe was fitted with an infrared detector wired into a solenoid valve. They had removed the fuse to prevent more water wastage. I have not come across this before so didn't know where to start with diagnosis of the problem, and didn't want to start changing parts if it was going to be incorrect. Anybody able to advise me of what would cause the cistern to be overfilling
Thanks in advance!
