Fitted one of these for a friend the other day more or less straight swap for what he already had .When i was comissioning fire i noticed the flames seemed quite fierce as if it was going to lift off but yet it wasnt ,gas rate and burner pressure was as per MI'S , also had reading of 22mbars at gas meter with appliance running .

Double checked in the MI's that had coals seated ok and yes as per MI's , flame picture all good as well yet still seemed fierce that it wasnt quite right but yet everything according to MI's was in accordance from what i caould gather.

showed my friend and he said same thing seems a bit more fierce than last one , cant seem to see anything one but told him not to use it till i speak to b&q but has anyone else had this before

twas one of these in link
