I see in this months edition of HVP that B&Q are after tradespeople and anyone wanting to be part of it should email them on [email protected] describing profession, service provided, location and contact details. Might be worth a look.

My sister-in-law is still waiting for them to admit 'cowboyism' 3 years after her kitchen was fitted resulting in a wrecked floor and... can't even be bothered going on - don't be associated with them, it'll ruin your reputation.

I actually sorted a job out for a customer that B&Q had installed(shower pump) with no Essex/Surrey flange or similar fitted and pump had packed up, they admitted responsibility and then came out to fit new. I was called back by customer(B&Q asked her to get me to do the work and they would pay) as still had problems.

I used to work for them as an 'expert plumber' - trust me when I say don't get involved.
