back boiler

just had a regular custard on the phone, her daughters neighbour has told her there is smoke coming out of her chimmney. she has a back boiler, i have said is it not just the plume from the boiler and can you smell smoke in the house. im off round tommorrow to have a look. any other ideas.

Ring them back straight away and tell them to turn boiler off,open windows and ventilate the property ,it could be sooting up due to burning incorrectly
