Just back from w'end in London with d missus. What I saw. Oxford street three times, heathrow terminal 2 and the pub. Well maybe a bit more. Nice spot people very friendly. The underground is class! How much would that cost to 'build' now.
The traffic what I saw was horrendous. Hats off to anyone having to contend with that every day

Now you know why I wont do it anymore, never been to Dublin so how does it compare, 50% as busy?

Dublin is the only place in the world where a pint is more expensive than London!

Oxford street on Saturday was like shopping in Dublin at Christmas. I stayed in Holborn. Traffic there was just non stop jams. Dublin is bad but not that bad unless there's been a crash or a protest. Couldn't get over the frequency of the tube. Very good. Only drank in hotel and a local pub. Londoners friendly enough. Got talking to a few. Was back in work this morn. That was a struggle. Would go back again, no probs but maybe during the week d next time.

APP I was paying 4.50 sterling a pint. That works out at €6 ish. Pubs in d centre of Dublin would be €5 or €5.50. But they're all worth when your having the crack!
