Ok so did a rad valve change at rugby club and while i was there used some ptfe tape on the filling loop as it was leaking yano doing them a favour ! All was fine then today got phone call boiler still loosing pressure so going to look tommorrow for a leak/prv but also said since you put tape on that thing (filling loop) the water pressure has been terrible ! So any ideas ? Im not to blame but going to take pressure and flow readings from a few points ! But i think its throughtout the whole building is what it sounds like.

I feel for you it is that last man on site scenario. Very unlikely to be your fault and possibly good PR if you can solve it. I tend not to do anything extra these days unless it is likely to be a hazard as I have been caught out in similar circumstances.

know how you feel, custard called pm today, said boilers not working, you serviced it three weeks ago so sort it! My response was refrained and to the point, does reset work, no, is pressure above 1 bar, yes, is mains power on, yes, is fan running ,yes, is it sparking, no. So responded I'll see you wednesday 3rd when the parts supliers are open, happy new year. Also for all of you out there who luv them its a ferrolli modena!!!
