what is the situation regarding band b boilers,am i right in saying manufactures are no longer producing, selling them. if this is the case, is there a time scale regarding fitting band b boilers.

They are still being manufactured,they are not suppose to be fitted any more,the transition period has gone,but folk are still fitting them and do not see any 'band B' police force about,registration may be a problem,if you do register them
I have moved on to the 25 mains eco and advanta

missing the mains band 'b' boilers

baxi have said from there point of view its a sale so warranty's apply thats why the baxi 105a is not with us yet to many 105/performas hanging about

thats a point manufactures still offer warranty on band b boilers, how does that work, who says you can no longer fit band b boilers, because no body seems to be listening.
 
its all a bit silly, you can still register the boiler with its manufactures and gas safe..

i cant remember who said now but if you're replacing a backboiler anything thats more efficient is ok to fit, like a band b, if replacing a B, it needs to go upto an A.. i think its gas safe that come out with that
 
yeh ~I heard that if the rads are over sized enough or the customers prepared to leave all the windows open to allow correct heat loss from rads,to allow boiler to keep to maximum efficiency,it is ok to fit band b as well :confused::confused::p
