Bargain hotels in London

This is a bit last minute. My nephew is bringing his girlfriend to London for a couple of nights tomorrow. Anyway he's booked the flights but no hotel. He's a clown. Can anyone recommend a good cheap hotel in Central London. I know good and cheap don't really go together but if anyone knows any he'd appreciate it.

We stayed at the Ibis at Euston when we went for a weekend a few years ago, was pretty cheap even for London and had no problems with it.

no such thing as cheap in london but you just have to shop around have you tried www.laterooms.comrememberb london is a big place and to far from where he needs to be could cost them

I know steve. Thanks for that. I think he just going over to lay some pipe (not the plumbing type). Leave him to it. He'll prob get a hotel in Gatwick and theyll take turns looking at d ceiling
