Hi everyone I hope you all had a good Christmas and New year.
I really good do with some help in wiring a TR1 2 wire thermostat to my trusty old Danfoss 103 heating timer.
All I need to know is which connections from the timer to the thermostat do I need to wire together? So I can use both the timer and the thermostat together. I thought this would be a simple 5 minute job as I have done before with electrical jobs but the wiring in the back of the timer doesn't seem to match with any of the wiring diagrams.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my heating bill is huge as I can only have the heating either on or off.
Cheers
Mark

In short

n from the timer to the stat

N to 2 stat
From timer disconnect white wire in 1
Timer 1 to stat 1
White wire to 3 stat
Earth to earth

Hope this helps if your unsure of anything best leave it to a pro

Eg left of 2 on the stat test middle of 3 and 5 on the timer

Hi there sorry to hassle you.
I have wired it all up and although it is work ing quite well it seems to be intermittent as to if the heating comes on at all. I was wondering if I could just get rid of the timer all together and just wire up the thermostat
If I did that which wires from the wall would go where?

you would need a programmable room thermostat then

sounds like it could be a timer fault time to get the multi meter out
I've checked it with my multi meter and noticed a load of wall dust all over one of the timer connections. A quick clean and all is perfect. Thanks again for all of the help.
Here's the finished job. It's not a professional job but it works and the Mrs is happy. Which is the main thing
