Any recommendation for where to purchase taps? Also has anyone got their preferred make of taps? Thanks

Anywhere, depends what you want and how much you want to spend

Lots out there, depending on budget.
but in 36 years I've only replaced 1 "hans Grohe " tap!

Franke & Hans Grohe are decent enough but pricey. You get what you pay for. I replace so many Bristan taps so I'd not recommend them.
