Hi, I have a few issues with my bath drainage and leaking. The first issue is that the near corner of the bath by the taps is sloped downwards meaning that it pools in the corner and quickly starts leaking through gaps in the shower screen onto the floor rather than into the bath. The rest of the bath corners seem to be level - is there any way for me to raise this corner without having to mess with the tiling?
The second issue is that the bath drains very slowly - like 15-20 mins to empty after a bath, and water pools during a short shower. It was gurgling so I changed the bath trap from a regular trap to an anti-syphon trap. This has stopped the gurgling but hasn't sped up the draining. I have tried raising the waste pipe at the bath end to increase the fall, as it was quite flat - gone from 1/150 to 1/50, but this also makes no noticeable difference. Have tried plunging many times, industrial chemical blockage clearer down the drain and these haven't helped either. I'm on the bottom floor of a 6-floor 1960s block of flats. I'm wondering whether there could be a blockage further down that is causing the slow draining, or whether I have missed something that I should try?
Any advice on these two issues would be really appreciated, thanks.
