Hi all (again),
A friend of mine is reporting jumping temperature on his bath mixer taps (when having a shower).
I've said the thing to check is the water temperatures/flow rates from the boiler. He has a combi, which is about ten years old.
But is it possible the taps are at fault? In theory, they are just simple things - open up to control flow, and divertor valve to switch to shower/bath. But could the tap jumper bounce around on a high-pressure system (ie, mains water through combi)? Especially as the tap ages?
Thanks again for all your advice,
Jennie
