Hi all, please can you help with this problem:

My original bath shower mixer tap was 12yrs old and developed a problem so I thought I would buy a whole new similar style unit. I fitted the new taps and all was ok for a week or two. Then i noticed the hot tap would only turn two full turns but before it would turn three full turns. Over the next few days this got worse until I could no longer turn the tap at all.. I took them back to B&Q and got them exchanged for identical set. Again after about a week, the same thing happened. I have now replaced them with yet another set and the same thing is happening again. The funny thing is, when i remove the taps to take back to the shop, the problem goes away and they turn as they should, so im thinking its something to do with the water pressure?. I dont think I have unusual amount of pressure at my home and no other taps have broken in the house in 12yrs.
Hot water is fed by a combi boiler so I thought it maybe because of this but the cold water tap also develops this problem after a few weeks of use.
Please see the link below for these taps.
Any help is appreciated..Cheers

Hi Steve, thanks for your response.
I thought low pressure taps can be used on either low pressure or high pressure systems, but high pressure taps can be used only on high pressure systems.
The taps I purchased are suitable from 0.2bar upwards but they dont state a maximum pressure. ?

Have just had the same problem with a customers tap, put it on in August, been replaced once already. Ive just taken it back for a refund. Personnally i dont think pressure has anything to do with it, these are standard mixer taps and shouldnt have any issues in a normal house with a normal combi boiler system. I suspect Plumbsure has had a faulty batch, wouldn't be surprised if quite a few more have been returned.
Take it back and go for a refund, for your info my customer is getting an almost identical set from Focus, similar money
