Hi, recently moved and have just had to empty the bath trap as it was blocked, but now it won't stop leaking, and badly.
Not sure which type of trap it is, but this is what it looks like. Directly attached to the bath is a tee, off of that is the overflow and the trap, then off the trap is another tee with a solid piece of grey pipe out of it (HDPE ?), which should slot into the connecting pipe, but doesn't seal, not by any stretch of the imagination. The left of the tee has a complete seal around the grey pipe, but when I took the trap off and the tee with the grey pipe popped out of the other end, nothing fell out with it, which makes me think this part was always leaking as it always seemd damp on the floor. The attached photo shows this part of the pipe. Within the pipe coming from the wall, there is a smaller piece of plactic pipe but it's smaller and not as long as the grey pipe.
Help, please, Ben.
P.S. Can I Use Uni bond all purpose interior seal, for the threading, as the tee to the bath is still slightly dubious.
Thanks
