I certainly pick the hard jobs, 1930's bathroom to have complete make over including removal of cast iron bath, all lead pipes, full tile walls and floor etc, Knackered stoptaps everywhere and 80 years of bodges. Nearly finished but never again as it couldn't be a worse time for them to have it done.

Husband and wife, two teenage girls and 3 guests from Italy are now in the house, only one bathroom of course. So far I've managed to keep everything going which is fairly easy in a normal bathroom but not here, nothing comes out without a fight. All walls stripped to bare brick, floorboards in skip etc, dust was everywhere.

Also why do customers get you a skip and then end up filling it with their own rubbish so you have to pile tile cut offs and bin liners full of old plaster in the garage?

Nice family though and we're all having a good laugh at the madness, They even had me stay for dinner tonight!

Happy days...

Jobs like that with ticky old isolating valves, make me glad that I invested in pipe freezing equipment. Best of luck with your install Phil, and please post some pics upon completion!

Did you take some photos from before you started? That would make good before n after photos to show custards.

Happy day's indeed, slightly different from changing a bathroom suit in one of them training centres a !! If only those 8 day wonders could see what it is really like. LOL

WTF I've just spent 10 minutes loading that reply up with pics from my Samsung S2.
