hi all not posted for ages but looking for some ideas:)

looked at a bathroom refit the other day and all the pipework is above floor level and old it looks awful. so i want to drop the pipework under the floorboards.

notching out the joists for the pipework isnt a problem the waste might be, the way the joists run the waste will have to go over them trying to think of a better way to run the waste dont really want to start notching to much of the joists to accommodate pipework and waste and the fall for the waste may be to much.

am i going to have to keep wate above ground or are there any other options.

Hi Form a wall from timber and plaster board, say 6" in front of existing about 3'-00" high with shelf going back to wall. Using this as service duct and fit basin/wc on new wall. And the punter got a nice tiled shelf for writing the cheque out on. Good Luck

hi pauls,
remember you can only cut out 1/8 into a joist depth 1/10th from wall x room span anyways.
why isnt the waste going thru the wall behind sink,
can you route it outside to branch?.
stuff it into down pipe.
