hi chaps, went to a 105 he this afternoon fan fault neon flashing....fan running full...no ignition so no hw or ch i checked flue for blockages and it was clear so i have diagnosed the aps and will take fan venturi with me just in case.
my question is does the fan have to come out to replace the aps? as will try this first...not done a repair of this nature on this boiler...any help would be welcomed.
cheers.

If you've got the space you can take the LH side cheek off to give you more room, just a cupl extra screws securing it. You can get it from the front though, just undo the screws on the top and it'll ease forwards! :)

no fan stays in and it will be a duff aps, remove the combustion door,LH side panel(note theres a screw hidden LH bottom rear of the panel)once all the screws are out the panel lifts up you can then get at the aps note tube/wiring positions undo one black screw top of the combustion box/boiler LH SIDE rear remove aps remove bracket off aps transfer to new aps reinstate tubing/wires/combustion door/panels fault gone
