Hi all. I have been to service a baxi 105e today and found a water leak at where the pump connects to the pipe leading to the heat exchanger. has anybody come across this before and know how to fix??

It'll be one of two(or both) "O" rings behind pump, unless you're unlucky and the block has plit
Drain boiler, remove pump (including body )and replace both O rings
IIRC there are 2 screws holding pump in to block, no amount of tightening of these screws will stop leak as O rings are on a male/female joint and not between 2 flat services

I just bought the O rings from parts center
£ 2.60 + vat EACH !!!

Bought 1 Baxi fibre washer the other day for around the same price, PC's own washers didn't want to seal. I did repair a leaking pump o-ring on my own Baxi 105 a few years ago with a few good wraps of PTFE...... Probably best not doing that for a customer though!

Yip the new O rings did the trick, worth every penny!
