What is everyone's view on these boilers ? Ive just got a job to fit 9 of these in a local new build project but Ive never even seen one. The whole job is being built to a spec approved by god only knows. Are they any good I am an Ideal man normally ??

Rep wsa ding a breakfast morning the other day pushing 200 / 400 just from visual inspection i wasn't overly impressed.

I went to site this morning (horrible place) put a couple of flue holes in and hung a few boilers so other trades can move on.
We don't do site work normally but we have took this as they accepted our price
Seems strange that I have very few replies as the boiler looked ok

The new Baxi 400 combi is plastic i think,not done any yet

Fitted the new eco blue advanced heat only boiler recently. Was fine to fit. Incredibly light only 19.5kg!

Yes plastic hydroblock, and bottom of casing is plastic also :bomb:

What was the boiler they had issues with? Netatec was it?

Baxi/potterton boilers are good, I just think they are a bit crap to fit.

The jig is a nuisance at times an they aren't the lightest

Plastic front cover also, very light, easy to wire but give me an ideal vogue anyday
