Hi, just went to do a landlords ticket on a property which had baxi bermuda back boiler and fire. did tightness test, flue flow and spillage test etc.. Lit the pilot light and all was fine, then i turned on time clock and boiler fired up, after about 10 secs boiler cut out, gas valve shut off and pilot light went out.. Any ideas????
Thanks

DID you move thermocouple by chance ,you know the gas valve has two open positions did you check that it was on from there ?

Yeah all checked!! Dont know weather to change the pilot assembly and see from there. Not at the property now so will have to wait till tuesday..

and what burmuda is it if it has a ods may have dirt in the sensing port

it could be an electrical problem causing the valve to shut off but does not explain the pilot going out , word of warning always remove the gas fire and physically check the heat exchanger is clear as I know this from experience
