Hi my baxi bermuda back boiler will not heat water the pilot is on but when I ask for hot water via wall control panel nothing happens. This has never happened. Today though I did have to turn gas of at meter. So I had to relight pilot since then nothing is firing up any ideas thanks

Little grey push in button for pilot light? Try pulling it toward you don't twist it just a gentle pull, they get suck from time to time and that usually cures it if you have hw on at the timer you'll know straight away if it's done it

Sounds like a sticking gas valve. That boiler must be knocking on a bit. I was fitting those 30 yrs ago

I thought d Bermuda didn't have a permanent pilot but ignited on heat demand. Your going to need a gas guy in.
why did ye have to turn d gas off if ye don't mind me asking? Ye shouldn't b doing DIY gas work. Think of your family's safety, not to mention it's illegal.
i remember fitting those boilers in d late 80's-90's. Think ye could b waving it goodbye.

if the heating works its a controls issue . Check the grey push button is out as suggested, if still no joy call a gsr.

When was the last time you had it serviced? Might be a good opportunity to get it done, very important in these type of boilers.
