can anybody tell me how to alter water pressure its just under 1 bar and as far as i no needs to be on 1.5 thanks

it needs to be between 1 and 1.5 when cold , if you dont know how to recharge and bleed rads i would leave it to a mate who does to avoid damage ,good luck

the pressure drops due to a leak or evaporation in the system, if you have bled rads without topping up the pressure will drop, there is a filling loop under the boiler, but as alreaedy advised if you are not 100% sure how to do it be careful, the actual pressure should be set to 1bar plus 0.1bar for every meter of head from the boiler to the highest rad, in effect between 1-1.5 bar, it isnt critical, although it should not be over pressurised or that will cause you more probs, if you have a leak the pressure will get too low and the system will shut down, check the boiler instructions on their website to see where is is done as some boilers have internal filling loops so you need to turn what to where, some have a braided filling loop under the boiler, you open both valves and top up the pressure and bleed the rads at the same time, remember to make sure valves are fully off when done,

agree as Kirkgas but if you over pressurize you may end up with a hefty bill depending on what type of boiler you have
