Gents, on this job this morning, please give me your thoughts ....

customer is considering a new Brazila . The problem his house sits slightly forward than his neighbours ,so the flue is over his neighbours path. Theres nothing near it , as far as i know it is ok as a existing installation but I cannot fit a new one.
Am I right ??

Also , if he ends up keeping it and i service it, does it classify as NTS .

Thank you

Flue must be 600mm from boundary, from memory. So no you wouldn't be able to fit a new one.

I had this with a BF gas fire with a flue out into a neighbours garden a few months back and the customer just didn't get it, even after explaining it 5 times.

"But there's already one there??"

:)

Yep the boundary rule is the problem , so he cant replace it, but it would service, and some parts are still available, its what happens after that I am unsure as I said , I think NTS.
