hi all in the past my boiler has had a very small leak which I managed to find and fix but lately the pressure has dropped overnight to 0 .
After searching all over I finally found that inside the boiler the water pressure switch is leaking only seams to happen after the system has cooled down over night and then tries to restart in the morning, so each morning I have to put pressure back into the system and then all is fine till the next morning , now my question is can I simply unscrew the switch and put some PTFE tape round it and replace or will it need a new switch.
Thanks in advance

sorry to say unless your gas safe you cant fix / take the case off a gas appliance time to call a gas safe eng out
