I have a problem with a Baxi Combi Instant 105 HE. Initially when i turned the hot tap on the boiler didn't do anything but when i pushed the micro-switch on the DHW pressure differential valve the boiler fired up and the water started coming out hot. So i replaced the Differential valve. Now when i turn the hot tap on its seem to either go around the preheat section of the boiler or down the central heating never solely around the plate heat exchanger. Im leaning towards it being a fault with the diverter valve? When i changed the differential valve i noticed that there was a pin coming from the part behind it what does this do? I was wondering if this was the point when the water was being sent around the pre heat instead of the heat exchanger?

Any help would be very welcome!

Pm croppie or gas man with your gas safe number and they will tell you how to gain access to Gsr only forum. Loads of advice in there

Been told I can't do that yet. So stuck here for the time being.

Can anyone tell me does the water get diverted to the pre heat circuit at the divertor valve or at the differential valve assembly ( back half)? I was think the heat exchanger would be my next step, they had said hot water temp had been fluctuating prior to lossing hot water altogether.
