Went to a Baxi duo Tec 24kw today plate heat exchanger was choked up with debris really bad and no hotwater , did my usual trip to the local car wash and power washed it out cost me £4 mind as took 2 goes , serviced the boiler and the expansion vessel recharged repaired a leak on the sensor all working nicely again . That clear tube on the right. When I had someone out to look at mine he found it was twisted/kinked and thought it odd as it shouldn't be able to get twisted, so he unkinked it and it has been working fine last 5 months but just going again now.

Same thing as before keeps showing E133 code (gas supply but it also says on instruction thats one of the codes you can often get of by resetting) and resetting works maybe one out of every 15 or 20 tries.

Got him coming back Monday. If the tube has kinked again, new tube?

Never thought of doing that with the pressure washer I like it, do you put any chemical in plate first then wash through or just straight on the pressure washer?
