dont bother go to mr central heating and buy the potterton gold(duotec 1) instead £672 deliverd flue,clock and loop and far more reliable with a 2 year warrenty

Hi jefaz --- Just got a price through from PC on Teamvalley ... They're doing the Platinum 28HE for £730 +VAT ... 5yr warranty. Wouldn't know if that were good or bad to be honest? Also priced the Logic+30... 7yr warranty - £660+VAT .... I don't fit 24kw unless the landlord insists ... private custards I sell the benefits of the larger output!I don't do that many installs either, maybe a dozen a year!!

Thanks for the reply! The custard told me that is the boiler they want so who am I to argue ? I've found a duo tec 2 with flue and free tf1 for 588+ the dreaded! Get a 5 year on that too as I'm on the works scheme!

As for programmers I fit the Drayton rf2's £72 including!

you will need the extended warrantee on the 2.

what problems does the 2 have that the 1 didn't?

Gas valve and pcb faults when they were first rolled out!
I've fitted a few now and have had none of these issues!
