Attended the above boiler was informed hot water intermittent, isolated and removed heat exchanger , clean as a whistle, suspect diverted valve how can You check to be sure.?
 
Are you gas safe reg?

Right ok are you working with a gas safe engy, is he with you out on call outs?
 
Yes , this was first I've attended with him as to a break down and is testing me on diognosis.
I figured heat exchanger or diverted valve. Once re installed ht exchanger carried out test on hot water all appeared fine . Had a cup of tea re test hot water intermittent again.Property is unoccupied .
