Hi guys,

im a bit stuck on the diagnosis of the above boiler, called out to the property customer complaining of no hot water, heating works fine. Pulled the cover off and noticed a small leak that had crusted up around the hot water sensor in the diverted valve so changed this confidently.....however!!

The problem is still there, heating works fine, on demand for hot water boiler switches over (front LEDs indicate) boiler fires, temperature gauge rises to around 70 degrees as water flows out of tap....cold?

My thinking is the cartridge inside the diverted valve is sticking, so I've removed the motorised head....hey presto water flows hot!!

This is is where my confusion begins, is the cartridge the problem or the motorised head?

Any help is thankfully received

Cheers Jason
