Baxi duo tec combi. 28 hot water

New to forum be patient with me baxi duo tec combi boiler 28 , as soon as I turn on Dhw from taps boiler starts kettlining any suggestions cheers

Do you hear the same noise when you put the heating on? Are you getting hot water?

No seems fine but noise is an experience

Is the hot water getting excessively hot? Unusual to hear of "kettling" from a duotec

No not at all it's like a stone rattling inside the hex

Rattling is something different bodders .... try turning the boiler off and running a hot tap, see if the noise is still apparent?

No the noise has stopped just a gues could it be diverted valve

Blocked plate heat exchanger, or dodgy diverter.

The diverter could have a 'rattle' bodders .... I'd be less inclined toward the p-hex as yet especially if you're getting the expected performance from the boiler ..... Lots to check to verify that mind you On water only is the heat pushing down the heating flow? best checked from cold
