:disappointed:Hi I have a Baxi duo tech 40 he that is 2.5 years old. when i run the domestic hot water the water temp on the boiler goes to 90 deg and turns the gas off for a few seconds (water goes hot and cold) then on again this happens constantly also the diverter valve or heat exchanger starts to bang and clatter. any advice apart from buy a better make of boiler.

sounds like your plate heat is blocked, you have a excellent boiler but if its a blocked plate heat after 2.5 years question the quality of your installer not the boiler

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
should he of fitted some sort of filter into the system? it was fitted to an old system but he did flush out the old crap and put some cleaner into the radiators.
Thanks again
