Hi anybody with experience with these boilers? What common problems are there? Got one to service which is 7 years old and never bin serviced. Was thinking new electrodes and burner door seal..... Any other common things need replacement?

Also been told diverter makes clicking noises when heating is on overrun. Is motor or cartridge a common issue with these. Both htg and hot water work fine as far as I know.

Thanks,

Adam

Electrodes probably a good shout. If you plan on checking and pumping up the expansion vessel, make sure you have an extension for the valve, pretty tricky to get into. Mine at home is about that age, has had electrodes, new board, div valve and return manifold. Oh and the water pressure switches usually end up cutting off about 1 bar

Anybody on the duo tecs found a soot mark on the inside of the inner case near the ignition electrode position and found the ht and earth cables sooted up and brittle due to heat(same area)?

No signs of a leak from combustion door. Ignition electrode seal seems ok but will be changed anyway.
