hi this floor stander is coming out and its in a bloc k of flats 4 storey. shared flue. how do you seal flue up to stop poc.

Talk to gas safe technical help for their answer, not one I'd look at by choice.

you id it cant have shared flue

Persume se duct or u duct
manufactorers still do flue kits for these systems so could fit new boiler to flue system if required
To block up old flue opening to these flue systems ,just brick up
But check with block management first,to advise them you are no longer using flue and blocking up,they may have a specification they require followed,indeed you may have to use existing flue system as they may not allow flues on outside walls,if pre fab block,you can not just go drilling through anyway as pre stressed and you could end up with big problem

right he would have to check boilers suitable for se or u duct as well not all are

Se or u i presume, metal flue pipe i think, only wanted to seal pipe going into wall.i do not think am explaining this very well.....
