Hi, I have a Baxi Genesis 80 which takes a long time to fire up again in CH mode after reaching the set temp. I have set the desired temp to 60c for test purposes and the temp indicator will drop to 30c at least before the boiler will fire up again. I have another problem as well in that the radiators upstairs are only lukewarm when the boiler stops firing as if there is very little circulation when the boiler reaches 60c. Any suggestions!.

You may have hit the nail on the head regarding circulation Michael29068. The Genesis has a 3min delay once it's reached the desired temp. Also could be a delay in the flow switch or the air pressure switch. They're also an old appliance and a pain for water leaks.

they are/always have been a right shed of a boiler its a chaffataux in disguise

Hi, I sorted this boiler today.
The cause of my problem was a blocked filter on the CH inlet.
Thanks to Diamondgas and Gasman for their replies to this thread.
