Hi,

Can anyone please help or offer an opinion?

My Baxi 133 HE Plus has had issues for some time now and several plumbers have not been able to fix.

Historically the boiler has had new heat exchanger (about 1-2 years ago, although has recently been cleaned/descaled), new pump (1 year ago), new main board (approx 9 months ago), new fan (this week) and new spark and flame detector probes (this week).

Symptoms are that when cold the boiler will fire up generally first go and then heat the water (when there is demand) or central heating for around 10-20 minutes, then it cuts out, tries to relight, goes through the 5 tries sequence and fails. When the boiler cools down again seems to work again. Aargh!

Recently whilst trying to fix this a local plumber has changed the fan, no difference. Then second visit changed the spark and heat detector probe, again with no difference.

Anyone got any ideas please as I keep spending money without a fix and its bloody cold in the house at the mo! Taking a shower is a lottery unless you are really quick )

Thanks in advance

You need a better gsr.

We do not give any form of advice on the repair of boilers to non gsr's.
