I would appreciate any help you can give with the following issue we have on our Baxi Potterton HE 115 Condensing boiler.
After approximately 10 minutes of the heating coming on and the burner lighting the fault code E03 appears and the burner light goes off.
The manual says that the flow temperature is abnormally high and to check the pump/3-way valve and water pressure. As it is a Baxi Potteron boiler no local heating engineer will touch it so we've had to pay for a 1 year contract with the "specialists" if I may call them that to repair the boiler as and when it breaks down. They've been out twice already and checked the pump etc and have said there are no issues with it and that the boiler is fine. They believe that there is either air in the system (I've bled the radiators where there was a bit of air in one of them but it has made no difference) or there may be a blockage in the pipework causing the cut out and have suggested we get it powerflushed. Bearing in mind the cost to get the powerflsuh done I would appreciate any advice/comments on this.
I would add that we have no issues on the hot water side when the heating on the control panel is turned off and the burner comes on and off like clockwork.
We have already spent a considerable amount of monies in the past on previous issues, which resulted in a new boiler 2 years ago but the problems seem never ending since this September. It's got to the point we may just draw a line under it and get the boiler replaced with a different make altogether.
Any help you can give would be much appreciated!
