baxi solo 15he boiler problems

at customers today to check over boiler found boiler needed new electrode kit due to explosive ignition, also needed new 3 way as getting no heating. also noticed the boiler keeps cutting out every 30 secs or so with no fault lights, will fire back up after about 2 mins. checked pump which was fine no other signs of anyting else. just wondered if anyone has a good knowledge of baxi solos?

flow switch / realy check the burner ceramic with great care these separate and the boiler can melt its self.these are terrible boilers

you could temp short out flow sw wires to eliminate flow sw.

changed flow switches on 2 of these last monday. 1 had similar symtoms to yours and the other 1 had the flow switch stuck permanently open. you can link it out as buckley plumb says with a piece of wire after unplugging it and also bell out the unplugged flow switch with your multi meter and monitor its operation whille the boiler operates.
