Baxi solo 24 he heat

Bit of a problem with one of these my carpenter mate has one fitted 10 years + I'd say not looked after at all 🙁 recently developed a overheating issue , two port valve on the unvented cylinder was faulty , Salus wireless stat loosing pairing , expansion vessel shot , got this all sorted replaced both 2 ports, new robo kit and vessel on the heating what a pig to change above slimline 250 litre cylinder stuck in a cupboard 25 mm from the ceiling full of dust and muck nice , he wanted smart control so fitted a hive wouldn't pair🙁 hub to receiver to stat ball ache hive technical got it sorted 20 minutes on the phone do this do that press this hold that power off , batteries out get in the customers app reset this anyway got there in the end . Boiler stripped full service all looking good readings good all working well until boiler stat clicked off on temperature, heat built up in the boiler and goes out on high limit no pump over run on this believe it a option with a accessory but never fitted what the ! Baxi technicals view old boiler partially blocked heat ex , bad circulation , faulty ntc , but all works good rads get hot , cylinder primaries heat well , ntc in range on multi meter , but this baby gets hot hot hot got it to run but only in the low range on boiler stat
Conclusion? New boiler , new pump , mag filter magna cleanse on install Baxi 825 heat should do it after all I've done the hard bit 😅 now breath 😂😂 cheers chaps . Kop

My guess would be the lack of pump overrun and or the temp dial on the boiler.

Update on this post I finally got round to changing this boiler a few things I found which could of contributed to the overheat issue rotted out flue your options chaps . Kop
