Im thinking of buying one off these but still undecided on which! tried looking for a video off both in action on the net but no luck . What do you guys recommend?

I use my tried and tested Monument hook jaw whb wrench and have done for over 30 years, but hey each to his own what are you currently using?🙂regards turnpin

I've been using a spring loaded rotherberger basin wrench now for years but saw these and was wondering will they make life easier?

I bought the jawdroppers after a few people telling me how good they were.

I've used them a few times and found them no better or worse than a standard basin wrench, probably not worth the £40 odd I paid for them. The trouble I find is that because the spanner head isn't perpendicular to the shaft it means you can't fit them onto the nut as easily or apply turning force evenly. ( I hope that makes sense).

Thought it was some of big daddy’s wrestling moves, mind you, when you are struggling with those bath taps in a small bathroom, it can look like you are practicing some

This thread is actually very interesting... I have often wondered if either of these are worth buying. There is also this kit you see on ebay a lot....

is it any good?

bought some bearhugs a while back and found them ok, cost £29 off e bay, work ok less stress as the rachet makes life a bit easier, but still bang my knuckles when the nut finally gives after pushing for a while and your losing your rag
