Benefits of a 2-man company as compared to sole trader?

Up for doing so with a mate but trying to work out reasons to do it other than enjoyment etc

"More that the some of your parts" comes to mind but that's a phrase not an argument

We'd not really team up on jobs hardly ever as we do 95% 1 man stuff, so it cant include that

Not for me, I hear too many horror stories and falling out.

If I need an extra pair of hands for a day theres a small group of us that will do an odd day for each other if needed.

Most that I know fall out, usually one does more pricing/paperwork etc and then wants more money or when a job goes wrong they blame the other for pricing it wrong etc etc

You’ll go over vat threshold too.

Install work is so much easier with 2.
Kind of hard to split it 50-50 though as one of you will
End up doing the quoting, collecting paperwork etc.
