best gas books

Hi all i have just compleated my L2 plumbing and nvq. I am thinking of starting my acs what are the best books to get ? any tips and advice welcome. many thanks in advance

I used a mix of Viper and Gas Installation Technology by Roy Trelor and that got me through no worries

CORGI's Essential Gas Safety is one of the better 'van' books, IMHO.

Thats what I have - its the one I use the most its always on my dash board. I have the viper as well but its in a ringbinder type folder which is a pain to look through sometimes.

I think I'll buy that corgi book, I've got a big folder from College think its Construction Skills and a bunch of books on individual appliances, but they take up alot of space in the van

Personally i like a wee bit of Irvine Welsh. Always good for a laugh.
