Block Aid

I went to this house today with a very badly blocked toilet !! A after no success with the plunger I pured some "Block Aid" drains clearing acid. 10 second later I can hear this funny noise. I look at the bottom of the pan just to discover the pan cracked! Is this happened to anybody else? Or any idae why it happened?

never use that stuff on drains, toilets etc. its lethal if you have to use a drain auger and it splashes back.

i only ever you augers,jetters etc.

I use it all the time never had any problems, as long as I follow the instroctions on the bottle. That was the first time any thing like this happend and I wonder way!
