Hello again

Could you use a rothenburger pressure test using cold water to shift it. Where would the obstruction move to??

If you do manage to blow it down the system, it will only jam up somewhere else or knacker the pump.

It will usually be found at the tee which joins the feed to the circuit. Chop it out!

So likely to be blocked where the cold feed joins whichever pipe then?:)

Yes, air jecs especialy (sp), if the tee is high enough you can get away with isolating the heating tank, then get your wet vac and suck out the tank and down the feed pipe, cut out the tee no need to drain the whole system.

personally i would cut out the tee if the neutral point is blocked and replace it

what or where is the neutral point?

where the tee from the cold feed enters the system, under normal circumstances there is no flow or very little flow at the top of the tee so it blocks with crud its called the neutral point
