Friends

I've asked before but need help again!!

I've got a job where a kitchen sink is blocked.

I've taken the trap etc. apart and all clean.

I've tried one shot, plunged it, wire down the drain pipe but nothing.

This is the 4th time I've had it where the trap/pipes are clear.

On the last one I failed on the custard told me it was fixed in 5 minutes but didn't know how!!

Any thoughts?

Thx

Rct

I'd check fall of pipe, had one where behind a section of unit the pipe almost ran upwards

It's been 100% for ever.

Could it be air trapped?

In going to check the overflow pipe this time, I must nail this one or I'm giving up.

I've got to fix it. Got to

If you can get at the entire waste pipe, you are better sometimes to remove it & possibly even replace it all.
If you can't get at a lot of the pipe, then it's a problem. The chemicals often don't get at the source of the blockage. Wire down the pipe might be best.
Dont use a pump plunger if it's push fit waste & any joints not accessible incase they push off.

Ive tried everything. Seriously. I gotta clear this one.

All other outlets drain fine.

Do you think it's air trapped?

It's the 4th time. I can't be defeated again. I'll auger the drain tomorrow. Gotta fix the bugger.

How far from the stack is the trap...can you tell if there are any bends or 45's in the pipe run most likely blocked where the boss fits to the stack ?let us know how you get on....regards Turnpin:smile5:

Can't fix it, no idea why, tried everything. Now got 2 kitchen sinks that have clear pipes etc but slow drain/blocked.

I'm at a loss

Total loss

One is in a bathroom & goes under floor.

One is a kitchen & again goes under somewhere - 1st floor flat

One is ground floor flat - not sure where it goes!

A nightmare is all I definitely do know.

All pipes I can get to are clean & clear, 2 bottle traps clear, augerred them, nothing.

I've had it 3 times last year & failed then, epic fail.

Had a 30yr experienced plumber go & look.

Needs dynorod or someone to jet it,

Feel a bit better now
